Magic Glow

We all want that film-star dewy skin we see so much in the media.  It is often (slightly) enhanced in print or performed by magicians of the makeup world but something very close to it can be achieved by using the right products.  Now these are just a few of my favourites and ones that have worked wonders for me. The Magic Cream by Charlotte Tilbury really does work magic. It is injected with hyaluronic acid which makes for plump, hydrated, gorgeous looking skin that feels amazing. The rose hip oil scent is divine and the texture although rich is not greasy or heavy. This is a go to for me under makeup before my primer. Less is more especially on an oilier skin type.

This is one of my best beauty buys ever: the Radiant Bronze primer from Laura Mercier.  It is literally like adding a sunlit glow to your face without the UV exposure.  It has a pearlescent finish so reflects the light reducing the appearance of redness and any nasty little lines or enlarged pores.  It contains anti oxidants as an added bonus and will help your foundation to buff as well as giving you a healthy dose of much needed bronzey glow. They also do a radiance version of this without the tan if you prefer a more english roseque complexion.

Another little beauty is this: Glow Job from Soap and Glory and at 11 pounds it is a total bargain.  It contains little micro-beads of bronzer that burst on the skin as you apply this and it gives such an even, natural looking tan that just washes off at the end of the day and doesn’t streak.  This is so light and suits me perfectly as a day cream rather than using a separate moisturiser underneath.  On holiday this is perfect as a base, I find I do not need to use foundation at all. The raspberry extract not only smells yummy but tightens the skin aswell.
